Notre Dame’s No. 1 2024 NFL Draft prospect is set to work out Sunday afternoon. Offensive tackle Joe Alt, who is widely expected to go in the top 10 and be the first offensive lineman off the board, will go through drills in Indianapolis.

Fellow offensive tackle Blake Fisher, a projected late-Day 2 or early-Day 3 pick, will test at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday as well.

Blue & Gold will have live updates during Alt and Fisher’s workouts. You can follow along here.

Live updates: Notre Dame at the NFL Combine Day 4 workouts

10:03 a.m. ET: Alt’s measurements are in, according to NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah. He’s 6-foot-8 1/2, 321 pounds with 10-inch hands, 34 1/4-inch arms and an 82 3/4-inch wingspan. That’ll work.

In a vacuum, Alt’s height might raise some concerns. Some super-tall tackles have trouble playing low and matching up with quicker edge rushers, but Alt’s tape shows pretty definitively that it’s not an issue for him. Because of that, his size is a plus for teams that want a brick wall for the next 10 years at left tackle.

11:16 a.m. ET: Fisher’s measurements are in, according to Yahoo senior NFL reporter Charles McDonald. He’s 6-foot-5 3/4, 310 pounds with 10-inch hands, 34 3/8-inch arms and an 83-inch wingspan.

Fisher’s arms are actually longer than Alt’s, which will be very appealing for NFL teams.

1:04 p.m. ET: Jeremiah is extremely bullish on this offensive tackle class. He said it could be the best OT group in 20 years, and he has five players in his top-20 prospect list. Alt is the highest-ranked tackle there, slotting in at No. 9 overall.

1:08 p.m. ET: Alt’s vertical jump was 28 inches, while his broad jump was 9-foot-4. For comparison’s sake, his broad jump ranks much higher among offensive linemen than his vertical.

Fisher’s vertical was 28 inches as well. He does not have a broad jump posted yet.

1:11 p.m. ET: Alt’s first 40-yard dash: 5.07, with a 1.74 10-yard split. He gets a round of applause.

From a body type standpoint, Jeremiah compared Alt to Raiders tackle Kolton Miller.

1:14 p.m. ET: NFL Network’s Stacey Dales talked about Alt, who had to give up hockey in seventh grade because he was too big for his skates. Dales said Alt’s body was growing so quickly that he did offensive line drills while he played tight end in high school, because he knew he would become a tackle eventually.

1:17 p.m. ET: NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport said Alt has taken official visits with the Jets, Titans and Chargers. He confirmed at his media session that he’s met with the Bears and Raiders as well.

1:21 p.m. ET: Fisher’s first unofficial 40-yard dash: 5.21.

Jeremiah speculated Fisher could move inside to guard at the next level. He has the length to play tackle, but teams might like his power more inside.

1:32 p.m. ET: Alt’s second unofficial 40: 5.05. Slight improvement for the big man.

1:37 p.m. ET: Looks like Fisher decided to stick with the 5.21, with a 1.82 10-yard split. He did not run a second 40.

1:54 p.m. ET: According to Jeremiah, Alt had the top speed five yards into the 40-yard dash by an offensive lineman in the past two years. He was moving at 14.14 miles per hour at that point.

2:27 p.m. ET:

2:44 p.m.: Alt had the second-best top speed in the pull drill fold block, coming in at 16.03 miles per hour. He’s an elite mover, particularly at his size.

2:55 p.m.: Notre Dame running back Audric Estimé totaled 23 reps on the bench press. That’ll do it for the Irish players on Sunday’s televised workouts.
